The OE-A (Organic Electronics Association) is the key international industry association for organic and printed electronics; it was founded in December 2004.  Our members are leading international companies and institutions, ranging from component and material suppliers, equipment and tool suppliers, producers/system integrators and end-users to R&D institutes.  The OE-A globally represents the entire value chain of this emerging industry.  More than 120 member companies from Europe, the U.S., Asia and Australia are working together to promote the establishment of a competitive production infrastructure for organic and printed electronics.  The vision of the OE-A is to build a bridge between science, technology and application.  The OE-A is a working group within the German Engineering Federation (VDMA); more than 3,000 member companies make VDMA the largest industry association in Europe.

Activities of the OE-A include networking opportunities, strategic market understanding and a roadmap for organic and printed electronics.  Dedicated working groups cover the topics applications, technologies, quality control and measurement, demonstrators and education.  Frequent working group meetings are held in North America as well as in Europe.  The 8th North American Working Group meeting of the OE-A will take place in San Jose, CA. in December 2009.
